WALT: Describe the layers of earth

The layer in the very top is named the Crust and the Crust is made with land and water.Crust is 8 km thick under water and 32 km thick under the continents crust.
Below the Crust is Mantel and that would be the thickest layer of 2,900 km . This layer is also hard and  its like hot rocks.
Below that layer is Outer Core, its 2,300 km thick and is full of solid nickel and iron.
The last layer is Inner Core and its 1,250 km thick and its the hottest layer and its like the sun.

Great to see you starting to blog about science! You've included lots of extra information about the size of the two types of crust, which is very informative. One improvement I would comment on is that the crust is just made up of different types of rock; there is a LITTLE water mixed in there too, but mostly it's just rock. The ocean is on top of the oceanic crust. I hope you enjoyed eating the cake!
