My Holiday to Rainbow's End

On Friday in the holidays my family and I went to Rainbow’s end and I couldn't wait to be there.

First when we got there the first ride the Fear Fall and when we were going up I could see the whole Rainbow’s End. But when we came down it came down so fast that I couldn't feel myself.

After the Fear Fall the next ride we went to was the bumper cars in the water and there was a long line so I needed to wait for a while then when I was getting closer then I was getting excited.

Meanwhile after that ride we went to the roller coaster and when I was in the roller coaster I was getting scared but the scariest part of the roller coaster was when we went around the loop.

Then After that ride we went to the Straits Fear and there was a extreme line and not extreme line but I watched people getting scared of the extreme one so I was scared so I went to the not extreme one.

Then Finally it was 5am and that was the time that people have to leave now because that’s when the night ride’s start. We stopped at Burger king and we got frozen sour blueberry and that was my holiday.   

Cindy in Da House

Today the whole of Glenbrae School walked to Point England School because they invited us to come to their school so they performed item’s and the show was called Cindy in Da house.

First, when we got there a man introduced us even there were 2 other school there and they were called Ruapotaka and Te Pua.

Next, it was time to watch the Point England performers perform there item’s and the light went off. There were acting,dancing and singing. The best part of the show was when a group of boys in the gym dancing and it was funny because the boys were dancing to a song called Harlem Shake.

Then Finally the show was over then some of the kids from each school's thanked the Point England performers.      

Duffy Role Model Assembly

Today, 10th September, was our Duffy Role Model Assembly. Our Role Model was Myron Simpson and he started riding his bike when he was the age of 3. He even represented New Zealand when he was the age of 8. When he was 8 he got the road bike.

In 2007 Myron Simpson came 2nd in the Junior World Championship in Mexico and he rode a bmx first then he rode a road bike.

Equipment:  aerodynamic

He can lift up his own bike with his pinky so that mean his light and it’s fast.He has holes on his shoes to make him faster even on his helmet has holes to so it can be faster.

Also he loved to cook and he made his own company that makes muesli bars and he also loves to eat pizza in Italy.  

Then he chose 4 people to go and wear his gear and the luckiest was sioeli because he got to wear his skins and hoped on his bike and people was laughing because his feet couldn't reach the pedals.

Then Finally it was nearly over the Myron Simpson and Mrs Raj gave out some books to every class then we finished the assembly.
