Nelson Mandela was coordinating sabotage campaigns against military and government targets and planning a possible guerrilla war. He claimed he hope to bring down the oppressive government and rebuild the country based on democracy, freedom, equality and above all.        

Nelson Mandela's father died when he was the age of nine and he was raised by royalty.  Later on in his young adulthood, he became an activist with the African National Congress.                                                                                                        

Nelson Mandela’s date of birth was on July 18,1918 and he lived in a village in the eastern coast of South Africa in Mvezo. December 5, 2013. The new President of South Africa is Jacob Zuma.

Nelson was arrested in 1962 after being on the run for 17 months. He was charged with sabotage and attempting to violently overthrow the government and sentenced to life in prison on Robben Island in South Africa. He was released after 27 years

He got more than 260 awards over 40 years and he became the president of South Africa. While he was in prison he was fighting for freedom and people from Africa were protesting for Nelson Mandela for freedom.

In Week 10 of Term 3, after Morning Tea the year 6,7 and 8 kids went up to the field for a tournament and it was exciting because it was the finals.

First, it was the year 6s first and Junior Warriors played Warriors and I played in the Warriors. The final score was 4 to Warriors and 0 to Junior Warriors.

Then, it was the year 8s turn and it was East Side played Queensland. The final score of that game was 6 to East Side and 0 to  Queensland and it was sad for Queensland.

Meanwhile, it was the final game and it was the year 6s. It was between Crazy Horse and New South and New South had 6 and Crazy Horse had 1.

Then Finally, it was prize giving and people was getting excited. After the prize giving room 9 and 10 had a sausage sizzle, Drink and chips.

My Holiday to Rainbow's End

On Friday in the holidays my family and I went to Rainbow’s end and I couldn't wait to be there.

First when we got there the first ride the Fear Fall and when we were going up I could see the whole Rainbow’s End. But when we came down it came down so fast that I couldn't feel myself.

After the Fear Fall the next ride we went to was the bumper cars in the water and there was a long line so I needed to wait for a while then when I was getting closer then I was getting excited.

Meanwhile after that ride we went to the roller coaster and when I was in the roller coaster I was getting scared but the scariest part of the roller coaster was when we went around the loop.

Then After that ride we went to the Straits Fear and there was a extreme line and not extreme line but I watched people getting scared of the extreme one so I was scared so I went to the not extreme one.

Then Finally it was 5am and that was the time that people have to leave now because that’s when the night ride’s start. We stopped at Burger king and we got frozen sour blueberry and that was my holiday.
