Rugby League Tournament

On Thursday Room 9 and part of room 10 went up to the playfield  to play Rugby League. The tournament was organised by the Junior Warriors. There were 5 teams. Their names were as follows:  Junior Warriors, Warriors, Rabbitohs,Broncos and Bulldogs.

The first game was between Broncos and Bulldogs and I was in Broncos  team. The Broncos won  this game because they  got the first try and it was a close game.

Next, the Rabbitohs played against the Warriors. The Warriors had 5 tries  and the Rabbitohs had 3 tries and it was a tough game because both teams had strong and were fast.

The semi final  was played between the  Broncos and the Bulldogs.  The Bulldogs won by 3 tries to 1. Bulldogs were a tough team and they  played very well.

Finally it was the finals and it was a good game because both the teams were strong teams. The Junior Warriors played  the Bulldogs in the finals and the  Junior Warriors won this game by 5 tries  to 0.

After the tournament was over, all the teams got together for team photos. The Junior Warriors organised tiie tournament very well. I had a great time playing and watching my friends play.

My Funny Story

                                 My Funny story

One day I went to go to the zoo and we were walking and  there was an elephant jumping around and the zookeeper was just looking at  it.

Then we walked somewhere else and we saw a balloon flying up to the sky and the elephant that was jumping it jump up so high it reached it and hanged on and then the elephant was flying up to the sky and it was lost and the zoo keeper shot the balloon the the elephant.

Meanwhile I was thirsty so I found a lemon then I squeezed it in my cup then I went for a walk and I saw a monkey that stole someone's banana then the monkey went and ate the banana and climbed up the tree and never came down.

10 years later there was a jungle man he lived in the jungle and he saw something very big and grey and it was the elephant and it was still alive and the jungle man was riding it and playing with it in the mud then they went for a swim in the pond and the jungle man was drowning so the the elephant jumped in the pond then all of the water washed away then the jungle man came out of the pond and said thanks to the elephant.

Then Finally the zoo keeper went to search in the jungle and saw the elephant and the jungle man playing in the mud but the zoo keeper said to the jungle man give my elephant back then the jungle man had to give it back so he did.

Poem

I walk beside you
across mudflats in
my blue gumboots
over crackling oyster
shells green ribbed pipe
The traces of wading birds

When the tide is out what lies exposed river threads of mud old brown stones
Tiny mussels yet to grow
my sole prints left
on the ocean’s bones.
